We’re hiring – Marketing Coordinator (part-time)
Due to continued growth of the company, we’re looking for a part-time (20 hours a week) marketing co-ordinator based in the Cambridge area to market our world-recognised software conferences and evening events.
You will need to have demonstrable experience of marketing paid events and ideally a background of working in the software industry. It goes without saying that you will have excellent attention to detail and will have the communication skills to deal with people at all levels of seniority. This is a busy position which will provide plenty of variety from copy writing to social media, email campaigns to community forum management.
The role will involve working independently from home on your own initiative and with minimum instruction so you must be able to recognise and resolve problems quickly and efficiently. This role will also involve working closely with the Director to maintain and develop our reputation for high quality events.
In return, we’re offering flexibility in relation to working schedules with possible overtime available and a payscale of £24 – £30k pro-rata, depending upon experience. Although initially a part-time role, it is envisaged that there is the capacity for a full-time or management role in the future.
