Cambridge Wireless Software Development SIG launches

I’ve been working with Cambridge Wireless to put together a new Special Interest Group on Software Development.

The new group will launch on 3rd October 2007 in Cambridge with Charles Weir of Penrillian speaking on “Supporting Many Mobile Platforms: Making Your Killer App Dominate the Mobile World”.

Cambridge Wireless already has a number of other SIGs, concentrating, for example, on handsets, games, billing, healthcare etc. but recognising that software plays a key and increasing role in the development of products and applications across the wireless space, we felt this new SIG should be of great interest to Cambridge Wireless members.

Cambridge Wireless member companies have a wealth of experience in software development, and our aim with the SIG is to provide a forum to share this experience to help members remain one step ahead of their competition through the spreading of best-practices throughout the community.

For more information and how to book, please visit the Events section of the Cambridge Wireless web site.
