Working with Embedded Software – A Hardware Perspective (NMI Event)
The National Microelectronics Institute is holding another Embedded Software meeting on 12th July in Reading. The meeting is unfortunately open only to NMI members and invited guests but you could perhaps contact Robin Kennedy of NMI to make a case for an invitation, or better still join NMI.
The theme of the event is:
Embedded software, in various forms, is an essential component in system development and delivery. This event looks at the opportunities and challenges this brings, particularly from a hardware development perspective, as well as using case studies to illustrate practical solutions.
The meeting includes talks on:
- Improving hardware access with C++
- Practical Solutions for Concurrent Development
- Time-triggered embedded architectures: From software to hardware
- Software from a Semiconductor Company?
- Patenting Software and Embedded Systems
- Software Design in a Hardware Simulation Environment
- Case Studies on Successful Embedded Software Projects
More details of the event are available here.
