Code Generation 2007 - one week to go
With just one week to go until Code Generation 2007 things are getting a little busy around here. We’ve been handling a good number of bookings in the past week with six coming in on one day last week - our best ever day. Although most people are coming for the full three days we do have a small number of people just coming for one or two days so it seems our decision to offer the one and two day packages seems to have paid off.
Our interview with Axel Uhl, one of our keynote speakers has now gone online. I’m working on a few more interviews which will hopefully make their way onto the Code Generation Network web site in the next week.
Andy Moorley of Truedata continues to do a sterling job on the administration side and has also been keeping us in line in terms of what he needs from us.
We’ve also been putting the finishing touches to the delegate pack, creating feedback forms and printing the session slides.
Aside from that I’ve been busy with things like fielding sponsor and participant emails, putting the finishing touches to my opening and closing slides and generally doing a hundred and one little things that need to be done in order to ensure the event is a huge sucess.
If you’re thinking of coming but haven’t signed up yet there’s only a few days to go until we close bookings - assuming the last few places don’t go before then… You’ll certainly learn a lot but also you will have fun in a good crowd of people who share your interests.
